What is Young Social Pioneers?

The Foundation for Young Australians’ Young Social Pioneers initiative is a six-month development program that finds and backs Australia’s best and brightest emerging changemakers, social innovators, thought leaders and entrepreneurs, aged 18-29 years.

The program supports participants to clarify and amplify their purpose, build networks of support, and develop business skills and capabilities to drive successful purpose-driven ventures.

in the words of our alumni

“I was asked, ‘what are you hoping to get out of Young Social Pioneers?’ I replied, ‘I want the confidence in myself to then be able to talk about the magazine in a really great way and be the best sales person for it.’ I knew that as long as I was so scared of public speaking – making it so much about myself – then fear would get in the way of my doing my job.”
